关于核方法有大量的文献，我们这里不打算总结．而是理出一些非常好的文献，它们自身有非常多的参考文献．Loader (1999)1对局部回归和概率似然介绍很完整，并且也描述了拟合这些模型的 最先进的(state-of-the-art) 软件．Fan and Gijbels (1996)2从更理论的层面介绍了这些模型． Hastie and Tibshirani (1990)3在可加模型中讨论了局部回归． 和 Scott (1992)5一样，Silverman (1986)4也很好地总结了密度估计．
